Well it has been a while, but the Calgary Sub-Aquatic Club website is now live. It took me a while because I had a mental block and could not come up with a nice, clean look and feel for the site. Well I hope you like it.
The site is at: http://www.CSAClub.org
If you are an old CSAC member and have any pictures or information for the new site, please send it too me. This is an amazing group that has been around and active for over 50 years. They used to teach people how to SCUBA dive safely long before certifications were even necessary. They also used to assist in many water rescues and such before the Calgary Fire Department took over those tasks. Cudos to you CSAC members of the past.

I was a former member of the Calgary Sub-Aquatic Club for about 5 years (1955-61) I learned to dive with the club and did participate in recreational dives, body searches/recoveries and a few commercial jobs including the See Bee Dam project of 1957, that one almost killed me twice. I continued diving up to about 10 years ago and enjoyed every minute of the sport. In 1979 I took a year off work and traveled the globe diving and every time I entered the water I thought about my hunble start in the Bow River and Chestermer Lake. Best Wishes to you all.
